Information and Advice Session for EU students.

Welcome to this information and advice session for EU students. Chloe (Postgraduate Recruitment Officer – EU) will be online from 15:00-17:00 to answer your questions in the Live Q&A.

We have a number of EU students and alumni amongst our Postgraduate Mentors. You are welcome to ask them any questions you have about what it’s like to study at Birmingham or make the transition to living and studying in the UK.

You can get more country specific information such as entry requirements and contacts for our in country representatives from your country page on our website.

We understand that planning how to finance your postgraduate study is a top priority.  You can search any available scholarships via our Postgraduate Funding Database and find out more about the new Masters loan available to EU students on our fees and funding pages.

We know that finding the right place to live during your time studying at Birmingham is extremely important. Our accommodation will allow you to enjoy your time with us in safe, welcoming and sociable surroundings.

We’ve come to the end of our Q&A session today. Thank you very much to everyone who took part – I hope we managed to be of assistance and provide the information that you were looking for.

We will hold many more of these virtual open day events over the coming months so please check www.pg.bham.ac.uk now and again to see what we’ve got lined up for the future. If you’d like to visit our campus (in real life!), our next Postgraduate Open Day will take place on Wednesday 23 November 2016. We also run bespoke campus tours throughout term time and Cafés at which you can meet current students.

mariateresa asked:

thanks for information!! I have applied at College of Arts and Law Masters Scholarship. Also in this case, if I have no news by the end of June, I have to assume that my application has been unsuccessful? Thank you again!

Chloe replied:

Hi Maria.  No, it may be different for this scholarship.  I would advise you to email  calpg-research@contacts.bham.ac.uk  to find out when you might be notified, as I can see the deadline was about one month ago.  Best of luck

Max P. asked:

to study the online msc, is there any attendance compulsory via skype and so forth?

Chloe replied:

Although you would be encouraged to attend any live webinars as part of the programme, I am sure they would also be recorded so that you could access these at an alternative time aswell.
