How was your experience of accessing Skills Bootcamp careers support?
The Learning Management tool was easy to use, access to important files and homeworks included.
What are some of the best things about your Skills Bootcamp experience or your biggest achievements?
Group work. Being able to work alongside people with the stuff I’ve learned was both very rewarding and exciting. Working with others helps me see how other people attempt to solve the same problems I face. You end up in a position where you either learn or teach for others, leading to a productive environment for everyone.

I have applied to many Degree Apprenticeships in which I have had many interviews and follow ups.
Tell us about yourself and your journey to studying a Skills Bootcamp.
I believe I’m a different person. Entering knowing nothing but the existence of JavaScript to seeing a whole new world of coding.
Why did you choose to study a Skills Bootcamp at the University of Birmingham?
The Skills Bootcamp was a way to introduce myself into a new profession with all the available help from the correct people. Having an online course enabled me to cut down on travelling times and use that time to work on myself.
