Questions

What do you hope to achieve during your postgraduate study at Birmingham?

My most basic wish is to graduate successfully. But what I hope most is that I can have an internship while at school, so that I can better understand and feel the culture and atmosphere of British schools, and can also better increase the variety of experiences in my life. As the saying goes, it is better to travel thousands of miles than to read thousands of books. Only by experiencing British culture first-hand can you best experience British culture.

What are you looking forward to most on your course?

What I most hope to learn from the course is how to improve a school and how to better manage a school. In addition, learning professional teaching methods and research methods is also something I really hope to learn.

What have been your first impressions of Birmingham so far?

Birmingham is the second largest city in the UK and a major industrial city. The architectural style in the city center is very scientific and engineering and I like mechanical things.

What was your motivation for postgraduate study?

Being able to better understand education knowledge and get in touch with the cultures of different countries is the motivation for my postgraduate studies. Of course, postgraduate school is more conducive to employment and making money, which is also one of the motivations for my study!

Tell us about yourself and your journey to postgraduate study.

I am judging, persevering, and compassionate. Individuals with whom I interact consistently find me to be lovely and interesting. My adaptability and learning ability are very good. During my undergraduate period, I planned to obtain five important professional certificates in China. I also used my spare time to intern for more than a year during school. Studying as a postgraduate student is fun, but there are also difficulties. The content that needs to be understood is more essential and detailed. I also learned about the cultures of different countries at the University of Birmingham, which was very helpful in broadening my personal horizons. It is a real pleasure doing postgraduate study at the University of Birmingham.
