What are your career aspirations after completing the course?

I aspire to build a career in business consulting, where I can apply my experience in project management, business development, and data-driven decision-making to help organizations improve efficiency and drive growth. With a background in Agile methodologies, stakeholder engagement, and strategic planning, I enjoy solving complex business challenges and optimizing operations. My exposure to fintech, ESG, and social impact projects has given me a well-rounded perspective on business transformation, and my entrepreneurial experience has strengthened my ability to analyze market trends and develop practical solutions. I’m particularly excited about consulting roles that focus on business strategy, process optimization, and leveraging technology for sustainable growth.

Why did you choose to do an MBA?

After running my own business and facing challenges during the COVID-19 pandemic, I realized the importance of a deeper understanding of business strategy, customer insights, and consumer behavior. This led me to explore new perspectives by working with an NGO, where I engaged closely with communities in India, South Africa, Bangladesh, and Cambodia to gain firsthand experience in consumer behavior and market dynamics. Through this experience, I developed a strong foundation in understanding customer needs and decision-making patterns. To complement this knowledge with core business concepts and strategic frameworks, I decided to pursue an MBA, equipping myself with the skills to build and sustain successful businesses in the future.

Tell us about your career so far

After completing my bachelor’s degree in 2018, I founded a manufacturing firm specializing in 3D printers and automation solutions. Starting with an initial investment of £2,000, we successfully bootstrapped and scaled the business to £50,000 within the first year. As the Director and CEO of M/S Tech 36garh, I led the company for four years, driving product development, business growth, and market expansion. However, the COVID-19 pandemic forced us to halt manufacturing, prompting me to explore new opportunities to deepen my understanding of consumer behavior and market dynamics. This led me to join an international not-for-profit organization as a Project Officer, where I worked on an exchange project with Cambodia, funded by the Norwegian government. Later, I transitioned into a Project Management Fellow role at Foruppo in Bangalore, further refining my expertise in strategy and execution. Currently, I am pursuing an MBA at the University of Birmingham to build on these experiences and strengthen my business acumen for future ventures.
