What would you say to someone considering a CPD course?
If the subject interests you (and you can afford it) I believe it is time and money well spent.

Some of the techniques I learned (particularly navigating and organising Canvas) meant that I felt I got off to a good start on the MA. Students who were new to Birmingham, took a few weeks to get the hang of the interface.
I enjoyed the course immensely. The Canvas interface with university support and the course materials were all user-friendly and help was available when I needed it. The content exceeded my expectations.
For 33 years I taught English and Drama in secondary schools and have been attending the RSC summer school since 1986. At the first summer school, I told myself that one day I would do the Shakespeare Institute MA having taught EFL abroad for a year instead of completing a Masters after my undergraduate course.
Having retired, I wanted to see if I could manage deadlines and writing assignments. I also wanted to test the quality of the course before signing up for more.
