What was your journey to getting a job after graduating from Birmingham?
I applied for this position through LinkedIn. The selection process includes both online and in-person interviews. While I was in the course, I made an effort to learn more about the industry and the application process, which ultimately helped me secure a job after I completed the course.
Please tell us about your current role and employer.
I work as a Graduate Structural Engineer at Pell Frischmann. My responsibilities include designing steel and concrete structures, conducting assessment calculations for bridges, and participating in bridge inspections. I use MIDAS Civil and Tekla Tedds for modelling and calculations, and I attend mandatory training as part of my graduate development.
