There are a fair amount of things I hope to achieve throughout my study at Birmingham, but most of all would be self development. Which is one of the reasons I am opening myself up to receive these opportunities to put myself out there.
Academically I hope to achieve the backing and support I need to attain my goals. Not only that but to also be able to implement that globally.
What I look forward to most is the awe inspiring opportunities, for growth and development in a new field of medicine. I also look forward to the connections and room to share my ideas to better systems for both doctors and patients.
University of Birmingham and the city of Birmingham is by no means a name that is not recognized world wide. I first thought I wouldn’t be able to get in but I went ahead and am I glad I did so yes. My first impression was a feeling, I felt welcomed (accepted and all I have read and also I have experienced to the point is not short of the name the city or University has acquired through the years.
A new path. That was my motivation. To give myself the chance to evolve into what I envision, and I am taking this as my first step to that goal.
I am Nigerian by birth, but currently have been in Antigua for a year plus studying Medicine. I first didn’t want to pursue a postgraduate degree as I had medicine on my mind. But half way through I found myself at a crossroad of two options, so I decided to differ into a postgraduate degree however given my love for health it still didn’t scare so far from my idea. And I found that the degree I chose actually might just be the starting point of a new journey which might just what I needed.
I am not much an ace in talking about myself but I am one curious being (not in a bad way), I mean I like exploring new things, traveling, there are times I may forget myself in a book.
