What were you doing before you started your course?
I was a stay at home mum. I practiced Public Relations occasionally while also running different self owned businesses online.

I wanted to have a International Masters in Health Care to compare with my own country’s health care system. I chose UOB because it is prestigious university. One of Russell group’s top 20 uni in the UK. The credentials of the lecturers was interesting to me too.
Personally, I left my comfort zone to pursue my Masters against all odds. Professionally, I crossed over into the healthcare care sector. Away from Public relations and Advertising that I studied in my BSc. Academically, I am doing well despite having an 11year break from studies. I had thought I would goof a lot 😃
Come with an open mind. Be present in class. You might have to unlearn some things to replace them with new knowledge. Speak up a lot when you feel stuck. Use your Personal Academic Tutor, they can be helpful. Never wait till the deadline to submit your assignment.
The fact that I get to learn about the Health Care Policy of the UK and how the NHS works.
I come from a family of 8. I am the only one without a Masters. My motivation was from this fact and also because I want my kids to grow up knowing that academia is a thing.
