What are your career goals after graduating?

I want to pursue a PhD in Genomics of human diseases and want to contribute to the advancement of personalized medication research.

The lecturers are highly qualified. They are really interactive with the students and try to explain all the topics well. They help to solve our problems too.

Tell us how the course has helped you to develop your skills for your current/future career.

Further I want to pursue my career in genomics. The course has helped me to develop python and R skills, specially for the biological research. Also, I have gained the knowledge and skill of using statistical analysis for future researches.

What are the best things about your course?

The course has a good balance of lectures and practical sessions. The projects and assignments are very useful and has helped me to understand the modules better, enhancing my bioinformatic skills.

Why did you choose to study your current course?

I had a Biotechnology background and needed programming as well as statistical skills to proceed with a career in Genomic field. The Cancer and Genomic Sciences department is well known for its research which I believed would help me to gain research knowledge and skill in the cancer genomics field.
