What advice would you give to someone wanting to follow in your career footsteps?
Building community is important, I would say – network as much as you can, participate in local events. But most importantly, take care of yourself! As a student/future graduate you will be very busy between applications and the last assignments.
What was the best thing about studying at Birmingham?
My degree was online, so it was a different experience than on-campus (and there was also the pandemic during the 2nd and 3rd year!). However, the best thing for me was the quality of learning and the support received from the staff, academics and fellow students
