How is the course helping you to develop your skills for your current/future career?

The programme has deepened my understanding of the UK healthcare system, especially in ophthalmology. The Bio design course methodology has been instrumental in teaching how to identify genuine market needs and devise appropriate solutions. This practical knowledge is crucial for my entrepreneurial ambitions in the future.

The course design is my favourite aspect, particularly the practical opportunities to engage with the healthcare sector, which allows for a profound understanding of market needs and solution development, invaluable for my aspiration to venture into entrepreneurship.

I chose UoB mainly for its appealing Biomedical Innovation programme, which perfectly blends medicine and business disciplines.
