Questions

What are your career aspirations after completing the course?

After completing the MBA, my career aspiration is to transition into a strategic leadership role in sustainability and resource management. With over a decade of experience in geology and mining, I aim to leverage the business acumen and leadership skills gained through the program to drive sustainable practices in industries like consulting, energy, or mining. I aim to lead initiatives focused on optimizing resource use, minimizing environmental impact, and aligning operations with global sustainability standards. In the long term, I aspire to be a key decision-maker, integrating innovative business strategies with environmental stewardship to create impactful, sustainable solutions globally.

Why did you choose to do an MBA?

I have chosen to pursue an MBA to bridge the gap between my technical expertise and the strategic business acumen required for leadership positions. As a geology manager, I have led projects that focused on regulatory compliance and resource estimation. However, I have developed a growing interest in the broader business decisions that influence operations and sustainability. To assume more strategic responsibilities, I need to enhance my skills in financial analysis, operations management, and leadership. An MBA program not only equips me with these critical competencies but also offers a valuable network of like-minded professionals and exposure to various industries. My ultimate objective is to lead initiatives in sustainable resource management, integrating technical knowledge with a strategic vision.
