During my postgraduate study at Birmingham, I hope to achieve a deep understanding of computer science, exploring various fields such as artificial intelligence, data science, and cybersecurity. Birmingham is an absolutely gorgeous place. I personally love the rain and even though at times it gets a bit gloomy it makes me feel so at home and cozy. The people here are very welcoming and friendly. I love being surrounded my nature and history and that is definitely why Birmingham has a special place in my heart.

Hi, my name is Meghana and I am currently pursuing MSc in Advanced Computer Science at the University of Birmingham. I am from Bangalore, India and have stayed there my entire life. I absolutely love travelling and experiencing new things and meeting new people. I always knew I wanted to do my Masters abroad in a beautiful country, with an aesthetic campus and an impeccable curriculum. During my initial stages the United Kingdom was my number one option for a variety of reasons and initially all I could think of was London, London and London. When I started doing more research is when I realized that there is a lot more to the UK than just London and that is when University of Birmingham became my dream university not only because they had the best courses to offer but for their absolutely beautiful campus as well as the amazing and outgoing committee, staff, students and alumni. I was over the moon when I received my acceptance into UoB, I couldn’t wait for the adventure to begin and to be honest now that I am here it is a bit of denial but safe to say I am so happy and thrilled at my decision to come here. Meeting new people, the various events and even diving into my course has been nothing but an absolute dream come true.
