What are your career goals after graduating?

My career goal is to secure a position in global organizations such as the World Health Organization or the European Centre for Disease Prevention and Control, where I can work towards reducing inequalities on a global level.

Tell us about the teaching environment and lecturers on your course.

The learning and teaching environment in the University of Birmingham is the best I have ever experienced. The professors give us ample resources to deepen our understanding of the subject matter and provide us with enough space to engage in the lectures. Furthermore, they motivate us to think creatively and come up with feasible solutions to various health issues.

Tell us how the course has helped you to develop your skills for your current/future career.

The course provided me with a better understanding of how the health system operates in a high-income country such as the UK. Moreover, the lecture encouraged us to reflect on how we can tackle global health issues in a manner that ensures equal treatment for all individuals.

What are the best things about your course?

The quality of the lectures and the support from the professors. It is fascinating the range of subjects and backgrounds that we learn in our course.

Why did you choose to study your current course?

I choose to do a Master in Public Health because I wanted to improve my knowledge in Public Health to provide an equality public health system, especially for those in middle/low-income countries like from what I came from.
