What has been your biggest achievement during your course so far?

My biggest achievement during the course so far has been leading a group project on designing an innovative employee engagement strategy. It allowed me to apply theoretical concepts to a practical challenge and showcased my ability to collaborate, inspire creativity, and deliver results under pressure. Seeing our ideas resonate with peers and professors felt incredibly rewarding, strengthening my confidence in tackling real-world HR challenges with a fresh perspective.

What are the best things about your course?

The best part about studying Human Resource Management is that it’s all about people — their quirks, their strengths, and how to bring out the best in them. I love that the course teaches us to juggle everything from workplace harmony to strategic decision-making, all while keeping a pulse on global trends. It’s like learning the art of building a thriving community, one smart strategy at a time. Plus, with engaging seminars and real-world case studies, every day feels like a step closer to becoming the people-whisperer every organization dreams of!

What was your motivation for postgraduate study?

From studying the past as a history major to expressing stories through dance, my journey has been all about understanding people and their dynamics. Now, as a postgraduate student in Human Resource Management at the University of Birmingham, I’m channelling that passion into building meaningful workplaces. With a blend of historical insight, creative thinking, and a touch of rhythm, I’m ready to lead, inspire, and make a difference in shaping the future of organizational success.

As a history major and a trained dancer, I’ve spent years exploring the art of understanding people and cultures. Now, as a postgraduate student in Human Resource Management at the University of Birmingham, I’m combining my passion for human connection with a drive to shape workplaces where individuals thrive. My journey from mastering graceful movements to studying historical narratives has fuelled my ambition to lead with empathy and vision.
