I have used the Careers Network of the university to help build my CV in order to apply to new opportunities. I was able to arrange an in person meeting with an advisor that was very helpful and provided me with great tips about how I could structure my CV.

I would say that my biggest achievement so far was being able to make an entire programme for an assignment by myself, after struggling with how to use code to complete specific requirements.

I would say the best thing about my course is being able to learn how computers work and how the services and devices that we use on a daily basis function.

I received the Data Science Conversion Scholarship. This funding has basically helped me in paying tuition fees for this programme, which I don’t really know how I would have paid otherwise.

I have always been someone very curious and also interested about technology and new innovation. Therefore, after having a gap year, when I tried to figure out what I wanted to do with my life, I decided that taking a postgraduate course on Computer Science could be a new and exciting challenge that could open the doors for new possibilities in my life.

Although I really enjoyed my undergraduate degree in Geography, I wanted to gain a new set of skills that would allow me to expand my knowledge. Therefore, doing a Master’s degree in Computer Science seemed like the logical step to make.
