I am looking forward to meeting people from various background and learning from their experiences.
Birmingham is a beautiful city. It’s multicultural and quiet. Having arrived here during autumn, I find it simply stunning. The people are really warm, and the campus is lovely as well. I love how quickly I was able to settle in here.
This is my second Masters degree, and that itself says a lot about my passion for learning more. I have been part of the public health field for over three years, and I always wanted to go beyond my role as a consultant. I was fortunate enough to have interacted with people from various countries and gained their perspectives, but that wasn’t enough for me. I wanted to learn more, and that’s why I came to the UK—to see firsthand how healthcare operates here. My aim is to work for international agencies and contribute to the greater good in the public health field.
There are multiple layers to who I am. Personally, I have moved around a lot within different states in India, whether for jobs, studies, or family transfers. I consider myself a nomad because I am always moving to new places and traveling.
Professionally, I have been in the healthcare field for nearly a decade, starting with a Bachelor’s in Dentistry. However, I wanted to move out of the clinical field, so I pursued an MBA. Afterward, I worked as a public health consultant for three years, and that’s why I am here—because of my passion for this field. I always believe there is more to explore in the world, and that’s why I am eager to learn about the different perspectives on health, as the world has so much to offer.
I am also very passionate about art, crafting, and giving back to society by helping NGOs.
