I chose this program for various reasons, such as the reputation of the university in the field, the expertise of the faculty, the available resources and facilities, the curriculum and course modules, and the location. Videos of previous students available on the website were also imperative to me in making this choice. Also, the high QS ranking of University of Birmingham gave me a feeling of making the right choice when choosing this course.

My highlights of the course is the guest lecture from 3WISE entertainment. The work they did is splendid. Everything that was presented to me in the seminar left a mark in my memory: the animated videos, the music, the film cast, the series they were working on.

I’ve learnt lots, including movie editing, how we frame a movie while shooting it, how beats add rhythm to the audiences mind and what the role of a producer is in cinema.

How diverse the University of Birmingham is – there’s a mix of the world cultures. This aspect has thrilled me!

The city has a wide range of cultural attractions, including museums, galleries, theatres, and music venues. Places like the Birmingham Museum and Art Gallery, the Symphony Hall, and the Custard Factory are popular spots. Birmingham has a diverse food scene and the Balti Triangle is famous for its South Asian cuisine.
