What would you say to someone considering the Skills Bootcamp?
The bootcamp is very fast paced, showing you the things you can learn, but after it you will need to put the time in to build up the skills. It is a great launching pad.

What are some of the best things about your Skills Bootcamp experience or your biggest achievements?
It was lovely to be on a course where people are really enthusiastic and open to learning new things. From my perspective it really opened my mind to so many fields that I did not know where even possible previously.
Please provide details of any employers in the relevant field who have invited you for an interview after completing the Skills Bootcamp.
I managed to work on 2 internships straight after the skills bootcamp as well as securing a job offer as a Database Manager. The first internship was working on app working on health informatics and the second internship was a start up company analysing green fuels.
Tell us about yourself and your journey to studying a Skills Bootcamp.
I had never studied any IT at all, not even GSCE!
Why did you choose to study a Skills Bootcamp at the University of Birmingham?
I decided to attempt a career change or at least a career addition into IT. IT is something I knew very little of previously.
