A brief history of your career since leaving the University of Birmingham

After graduating, I went back to my home country, Taiwan, and worked in PR/ Marketing and product/ project management for a year and a half before returning to the UK. I then became a teaching assistant and was trained to become a Business Studies teacher. I now teach KS4 and KS5 pupils.

Critical thinking, problem-solving, and data analysis.

Teaching and coordinating school-wide BTEC courses.

Every single moment at work can feel like an emergency situation. Something new is always coming up.

Coping with lack of funding, increased workload and trying to meet PMR targets.
