Q&A Archive

These were the questions asked during the School of Sport, Exercise and Rehabilitation Sciences live event.

We’ve come to the end of our Q&A session today. Thank you very much to everyone who took part – I hope we managed to be of assistance and provide the information that you were looking for.

We will hold many more of these virtual open day events over the coming months so please check www.pg.bham.ac.uk now and again to see what we’ve got lined up for the future. If you’d like to visit our campus (in real life!), our next Postgraduate Open Day will take place on Wednesday 22 November 2017. We also run bespoke campus tours throughout term time and Cafés at which you can meet current students.

Mark Vlamis asked:

The MSc Exercise and Sports Medicine fees for part time is 11,000 p/annually or it is the whole amount of fees?

Alison Rushton replied:

The £11,790 (Home/EU students) fee is the total programme fee.

If you undertake the programme part time you pay in each year for the modules you take in that year and the module fee is essentially the programme fee divided by the 7 modules to give a per module fee.

Ben asked:

I started my application for the MSc Exercise and Sport Science course at the beginning of the month and chose the part-time option which was available. However, I have just seen the response to Michela’s question. Please can you confirm that the MSc Exercise and Sport Science course is no longer available part-time?

Alison Rushton replied:

Yes in line with the website this programme is available full time.

Ben asked:

Please could you let me know the deadline for postgraduate applications? I am looking to apply for the MSc Exercise and Sport Science course. Thank you

Alison Rushton replied:

There is no formal deadline but the earlier you apply the better to ensure that there are places still available.

Michela asked:

I need to know if the course Msc Exercise and Sport Science has a part time option available as I have seen that it is last year but I couldnt find it on the website this year.

Alison Rushton replied:

This programme is only available as 1 year full time.
